The Kenneth Bradley Collection. 1942-1947.

The Kenneth Bradley Collection contains the FBI case files and the Justice Department case files on Rev. Gerald B. Winrod of Wichita, Kansas and others indicted for sedition during the period 1942-1947. Winrod was one of several persons indicted for alleged seditious conspiracy by the U.S. government which charged the group with siding with Nazi Germany.

Rev. Gerald B. Winrod was a minister of the Christian Missionary Alliance and a publisher of the magazine The Defender. Winrod was indicted in the District Court for the District of Columbia on July 21, 1942 for conspiracy to violate Section 9 of Title 18, U.S. Code, and Section 33 of Title 50, U.S. Code.
